An outline of the various leaderboards and leaderboard filters:

*Note that many of the leaderboards only update once a day.

Note that this leaderboard will also only update once a day.

To allow big and small schools to compete on a fair footing, the score for each school is calculated as follows:

School Score = Average Points per registered student x (1 + 2 x e/S + e/40)

Where     e = number of "engaged players" at the school.

And         S = The number of Form 1 - Form 3 students at the school.

And         An "Engaged Player" is any registered player averaging at least 150 points per week. I.e. achieving a total score of at least 1200 points by the end of the game. (150 points * 8 weeks)

I.e. The more "engaged students" the school has in the game, the higher the "multiplier" for the school leader-board.

# Note that we reserve the right to change this algorithm during the first few weeks of the game. Should this happen, the new formula will be communicated with all registered schools. (The formula will not be changes in the final 2 weeks of the competition)

## Note that a school needs to have at least 20 students registered in order to qualify for the school's leaderboard.

### Note that only registered schools will benefit from the e/S element of the multiplier.

The Weekly Learners Leaderboard

This is very similar to the National Learners Leaderboard, except that learner scores reset to 0 each week. There are prizes on offer for the top 10 learners each week. (Nationally)

This leaderboard can also be filtered by county.
